Colombia will issue green bonds over next year

The Government of Colombia is in the process of structuring these public debt securities to tap the market next year, although a formal date has not yet been established.

According to César Arias, Director of Public Credit and National Treasurer of the Ministry of Finance, Colombia is working in two areas, one referring to the creation of a framework for green bonds and another one on the taxonomy and criteria for this financing.
