Ways to improve rural credit

The Brazilian government launched financing for entrepreneurial agriculture, but the pillars of rural policy remain the same as in the 1960s. A redesign of rural credit policy is needed based on predictability, access to risk management tools, greater private sector participation and integration between public policies.
