Greek MYTILINEOS reaches financial close on Chilean PV portfolio

MYTIKINEOS, a company dedicated to the construction and development of renewable energy projects based in Greece, has announced a 375-million dollars financing agreement with lenders BNP Paribas, Intesa San Paolo, Sumitomo Mitsubishi Banking Corporation, Rabobank and Santander Chile, for 588 MW solar energy portfolio located in Chile.

The financing is structured with a 315-million dollars construction & term facility, a 30-million dollars VAT facility and a 32-million dollars Letter of Credit facility.

The project portfolio includes the Willka (inaugurated in 2023), Doña Antonia, Tocopilla and Tamarico solar parks (start-up data expected during the first half of 2024). Most of the energy produced by the four projects will be sold to Enel Chile under respective 10-year power purchase agreements.
