This course will build on knowledge gained during Social and Environmental Monitoring Module 1.

Drawing on evidence-based environmental and social frameworks, including the use of different monitoring tools such as operational controls, surveys, inspections, audits, and ex-post evaluations.

The course will examine the role of compliance and supervision as a quality improvement tool. It will also illustrate the importance of an integrated Environmental and Social Management System in dealing with the unexpected and the correct use of corrective action plans.

Case studies will demonstrate successful implementation along with lessons learned.
