BNDES raises 500 million dollars from the China Development Bank for investments in energy, green economy and high-tech

The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) of Brazil and the China Development Bank (CDB) have signed an external loan agreement with a term of up to 3 years for an amount of 500 million dollars.
The agreement is aligned with BNDES diversification strategy of its financing sources, being financing with international organizations one of the most relevant sources.
The resources will be allocated to projects in strategic sectors for a green and just transition, such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture and epidemic prevention, in addition to contributing to the strengthening of bilateral trade between Brazil and China.
