CABEI prices the largest bond in its history, and it is a social bond

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) achieved the largest issuance in its history for an amount of 1.25 billion dollars, under its Social Bond Framework. This was CABEI’s fourth consecutive ESG placement in 2023.
The orderbook summed up 2.55 billion dollars representing 5x the minimum target established for the transaction. The allocation was predominantly led by Central Banks/Agencies (67%), followed by Asset Managers (12%), Banks (12%), Pension Funds (7%), and Insurance Companies (2%).
