Cemig Distribution issues sustainable bonds

Cemig Distribution, the distribution division of the Minas Gerais Energy Company, the largest energy distributor in Brazil, supplying nine million inhabitants in the State of Minas Gerais, has completed the issuance of sustainable bonds for an amount in local currency equivalent to approximately 400 million dollars.
The resources obtained will be allocated to projects related to environmental and social topics (ESG), in accordance with Cemig’s Sustainable Finance Framework. The issuance, over-subscribed by 2.7x the original offered amount, was designed in two tranches: i) 5-year bond for an amount equivalent to 80 million dollars; and ii) 10-year bond for an amount equivalent to 320 million dollars.
