ESG regulations are accelerating demand for software

ESG regulations are “taking off” across Latin America and accelerating demand for compliance software in companies.

Chilean securities regulator CMF recently released standards for companies to report on their environmental, social and governance policies and objectives. In Peru, Colombia and Argentina, there are also initiatives at different stages.

Demand for ESG-specific software to accelerate is expected. Companies such as SAP and Globant are also working on ESG issues. There is an opportunity in that direction as organizations are more comprehensive and follow international standards. The most requested solutions are those of environmental management. For the execution of large projects, an accompanying permit, a study and an environmental qualification resolution are required. Second, the tools that enable better community management.
