Green bonds issuance surpassed the USD 100 billion mark for 2019

Green bonds issuance to date exceeded the USD 100 billion milestone in 2019 according to Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI). This is the first time that such level would be achieved in the first half of the year. Different estimates for 2019 range from USD 180 billion to USD 250 billion.
