IDB launches a new GBP 400 million 7-year fixed rate global Sustainable Development Bond

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) completed the issuance of a new global Sustainable Development Bond (SDB) for an amount of GBP 400 million in the Sterling market.

The 7-year term SDB pays an annual coupon of 4.00% and matures on December 17th, 2029. The issuance was over-demanded with final orders in excess of GBP 750 million from 41 investors, showing strong reception for IDB’s second benchmark of year 2023 across all currencies, following a 2 billion dollars 5-year SDB global benchmark in January 2023.
