IEA and the development bank: Strengthen Mexico’s energy development

The International Energy Agency (IEA) is an institution founded in the 70’s to promote the coordination of energy policies of its member states in order to ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy to their citizens. On February 17, 2018, thanks to the profound energy reform currently underway and its efforts towards a sustainable energy transition, Mexico officially became its 30th member country and the first in Latin America.
