The Green Climate Fund approved the accreditation application of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) based in Brazil

During the 23rd meeting of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board, held in Korea from 6 -8 July 2019, approved the accreditation application of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES), based in Brazil, as a national implementing entity. Accredited Entities have a significant role in facilitating access to international climate finance as they carry out a range of activities that usually include the development of funding proposals and the management and monitoring of projects and programs.
